My name is Liv and I’m a 28 year old (she/her) born and raised in the beautiful city of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

As a kid, my parents used to ground me from books because I read so much
Between school and work, I stopped reading for a long time and didn’t pick it back up until after Covid. Now, I’m so excited to have fallen in love with reading again, and I can’t get enough!
I’m a fan of almost all genres—from fantasy to feminist/political nonfiction to smut, I’m eating it up. Horror and historical fiction are the two newest genres I’ve been getting more into. Genres you will rarely catch me reading (never say never though!) are science fiction, contemporary literature & true crime.
I’m a crazy cat lady to four beautiful fur babies (one has crossed the rainbow bridge RIP Andy🧡) named Elmer, River Phoenix, and Rhaenyra Targaryen (this is a Team Black household!!) I hope y’all enjoy reading our blog as much as we enjoyed making it!

Hi, I'm Hannah. I've been obsessed with books for about as long as I've been able to read. I grew up on Tumblr and Wattpad, somehow skipped over AO3, and am only now realizing what I missed. I'm a 2000s baby, a Scorpio sun, and a double Libra. Most mornings you'll find me walking (or attempting to run) with my pug, Doug.
I'm incredibly nostalgic, which is probably why I made an entire Y2K-inspired website. My taste in books is a little chaotic, and I like it that way. One week I'm reading romance, the next it's sci-fi or dystopian fiction, and somehow I always end up finding a few hidden gems along the way.
I aim to read 50 books a year and almost always fall just short. The Hotline Review is where I keep track of what I've been reading and share the books I think deserve a little more attention.
